FROZEN EMBRYO TRANSFER

FROZEN EMBRYO TRANSFER

A frozen embryo transfer is a process of using a frozen embryo from a previous IVF cycle. It is a safe method to get pregnancy. About 40 percent of couples, who undergo IVF, choose to cryopreserve (freeze) embryos for another attempt. In this procedure, a woman who undergoes the standard IVF procedure may have cryopreserved embryos after a fresh IVF transfer fails. Like the other ART procedures, FET also involves multiple steps, occurring at a specific time during four weeks.

Frozen Embryo Transfer Cycle can be done in a Natural Cycle, Modified Cycle or HRT Cycle.
