Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy are two minimally invasive surgical procedures for infertility treatment. The doctors use Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of certain female factor infertility. These procedures allow a surgeon to look inside your pelvis, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and uterus (womb). A laparoscope/ hysteroscopy is an instrument with a miniature telescope (camera) with a fiber optic system, which brings light into the uterus and displays the images on a connected screen. These procedures can be used to operate ovarian cysts, fibroids, polyps, uterine septum etc.
