    Surrogacy in India is regulated by the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021, which sets strict eligibility and procedural guidelines. International clients must also comply with their home country’s rules regarding parentage, citizenship, and travel documents for the child.
    Finding a surrogate involves detailed medical, psychological, and legal screenings. At Asha IVF, all surrogates meet strict health and legal standards. We carefully match intended parents with surrogates based on compatibility, safety, and emotional alignment.
    Legal parentage in India is granted through a court process. Asha IVF assists intended parents in securing the Parentage and Custody Order, ensuring legal recognition. We also guide families with travel and citizenship paperwork for their child.
    Currently, Indian law permits surrogacy only for legally married heterosexual couples. Single parents and same-sex couples are not eligible. Since laws can vary, our legal experts provide clarity on exceptions and alternative options available globally.
    To qualify for surrogacy in India, couples must be legally married, with the female partner aged 23–50 years and the male partner aged 26–55 years. They should not have living biological or adopted children, except in rare medical circumstances.
