PESA/TESA

Both PESA/TESA are male infertility treatments. They are performed in men who have no sperm in their ejaculate due to either blockage in the tube for ejaculation or a partial or complete failure in sperm production in the testes. This condition is called Azoospermia. In both PESA/TESA, the surgeon retrieves the sperm cells with the help of a needle and prepares them for ICSI.
