Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment used to help a couple who want to start their family but struggling to conceive. Infertile Couples often start treatment with IUI. It is a less invasive treatment and low in cost in comparison to other ART. In IUI, sperms are injected into a uterus to decrease the sperm’s travel time to the egg.
The good quality sperms are inserted close to the egg which increases the chances that the egg and sperm will unite. The success is depends on the age of the woman, the cause of infertility, quality of sperm and egg tubal function, and other factors.
